The GCT has over 150 charitable schools all across Sindh with an enrollment of 29,000 students belonging to the deprived and marginalized communities, will enter the realm of college education for the first time through this Educational complex. The GCT established its first charitable school in Mehrabpur some 27 years back as now it has a network of 10 schools in the town with current enrollment of 2,500 students. The new educational complex after its completion in around two years will enrol another 2,500 students of low-income families. It will offer education from pre-school to Class 12.

In a recent conversation with the GCT CEO, Zahid Saeed, Saeed Ghani said that he had committed to attend the upcoming groundbreaking ceremony in Mehrabpur after travelling hundreds of kilometres from Karachi to personally appreciate excellent work by the charitable organizations to educate children of underprivileged families in Sindh.

“Charitable organizations like the GCT have been acting as the right hand of the government to combat the issue of out-of-school children,” Saeed Ghani said.

“The state-of-the-art Educational complex will have the wholesome academic environment in developed area of town with proper IT, science labs, and sporting facilities,” Zahid Saeed said.

“We are going to spend Rs 100 million to build this complex as the GCT have been blessed with several generous donors who fully supports our drive to educate children of the backward areas of Sindh. The most important aspect is that these donors wish to remain anonymous despite their generous support to this excellent charitable cause,” Zahid Saeed added.
