Sindh Bank selects PTCL to enhance the Bank’s digital connectivity infrastructure

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and Sindh Bank have signed an agreement to deploy SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) at 330 branches of Sindh Bank. This technology enhances internet and network management, making data transfer faster, more secure, and cost-effective.

The agreement was signed by Syed Assad Ali Shah, Deputy CEO of Sindh Bank, and Asif Ahmad, Group Chief Business Solutions Officer at PTCL & Ufone 4G, during a ceremony at Sindh Bank’s Head Office in Karachi. Others present included senior officials from both companies.

PTCL will provide state-of-the-art infrastructure and managed security solutions to support Sindh Bank’s digitalisation efforts. Asif Ahmad emphasised PTCL’s role in driving digitalisation across Pakistan, while Muhammad Anwaar Sheikh, President & CEO of Sindh Bank, highlighted the partnership’s significance in enhancing the bank’s technology and data management.

This agreement aims to improve service delivery and contribute to the growth of digital banking in Pakistan.
