State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has organized a special meeting today with writers/bloggers/analyst/reporters belonging to the digital means of communication and particularly those who cover news/analysis related to SBP affairs.

The objective of this meeting was to apprise them with the latest developments in the digital banking.

SBP has taken several initiatives in the recent past to promote digital financial services in Pakistan including Roshan Digital Accounts; Raast faster payment system; EMI licenses & operation and others.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Governor, Ms. Sima Kamil and senior management team members including Mr Abid Qamar, Mr Sohail Javeed and Mr Akhter Javeed.
