SBP reserves increased to US$ 8,727.2 million, country in total 14.065 billion

The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 14,065.3 million as of 14 Jul 2023. The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as follows:

Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$ 8,727.2 million

Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks: US$ 5,338.1 million

Total liquid foreign reserves: US$ 14,065.3 million

During the week ending on 14 Jul 2023, SBP received US$ 2.0 billion from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, US$1.2 billion from IMF, and US$ 1.0 billion from the United Arab Emirates. Consequently, SBP reserves increased by US$ 4,203 million to US$ 8,727.2 million.
