The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$19,495.6 million as of 01-Aug-2025. The breakdown of the foreign reserves position is as follows:

Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$14,231.9 million

Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks : US$5,263.7 million

• Total liquid foreign reserves             : US$19,495.6 million

During the week ending on 01-Aug-2025, SBP reserves decreased by US$72 million to US$14,231.9 million due to external debt repayments.
