The national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has successfully renewed the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) under the newly introduced Risk-Based IATA Operational Safety Audit (RBI) framework. This milestone highlights Saudia’s exceptional standards in safety and performance.

This year’s audit marked a major achievement, as it was the first under the RBI framework, focusing on airline-specific risk profiles and performance data for a more targeted assessment. IOSA is a globally recognized safety evaluation program that assesses an airline’s operational management and control systems.

Capt. Mohamed Dahduli, Vice President of Safety, Aviation Security & Quality at Saudia, stated: “Safety is at the core of everything we do at Saudia. Renewing our IOSA registration reflects the strength of our safety culture and operational systems.” As Saudia expands its global reach, this recognition reinforces its leadership in aviation safety.
