Saudia Group achieved first place globally for on-time performance in June 2025, particularly excelling on routes to and from Pakistan during the peak Hajj, summer, and Eid Al-Adha travel seasons. The airline operated over 16,700 flights, achieving a 91.33% on-time arrival rate and a 90.69% on-time departure rate, which significantly benefited Pakistani pilgrims and travelers.
This marks Saudia’s second global ranking in on-time performance for 2025, reflecting its commitment to operational excellence. H.E. Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar, Director General of Saudia Group, emphasized the importance of coordination across the Group for achieving such results.
Saudi Arabia’s success sets a benchmark for performance in Pakistan’s aviation sector, offering opportunities for collaboration in training and technology. With plans to add 188 new aircraft, capacity for Pakistani travelers is set to increase, supported by the State-of-the-art Integrated Operations Control Center in Jeddah, which enhances efficiency in flight operations. As Saudi Arabia expands its aviation infrastructure, travelers will benefit from improved connectivity and seamless experiences.
