Sapphire Mills has achieved a major sustainability milestone with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), validating its emissions reduction targets.

Key Commitments:

– The company aims to reduce Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 50.4% by 2032, using 2022 as the base year.

– It targets a 30% reduction in Scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services within the same timeline.

– A 40% reduction in absolute Scope 3 emissions related to Forest, Land, and Agriculture (FLAG) is also pledged by 2032.

– Sapphire Mills commits to zero deforestation for key commodities by December 31, 2025, aligning with SBTi’s 1.5°C pathway.

Industry Leadership:
