Sindh Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani will inaugurate on August 24 the new charitable school of the non-profit Green Crescent Trust (GCT) in the Sharifabad area mainly to benefit the children of labourers working at the Korangi Industrial Area (KIA).
Korangi Association of Trade & Industry President Syed Johar Ali Qandhari and KATI Deputy Patron-in-chief Zubair Chhya will be the guests of honour on the occasion. Many concerned philanthropists and donors who firmly support charitable drives to enrol out-of-school children in Sindh will attend the event.
The state-of-the-art school building in Sharifabad was built in just five months.
The new educational facility in the underprivileged neighbourhood of KIA will be the 170th charitable school of the GCT in Sindh, with a total enrollment of over 32,199 students from deprived families.
