Pakistan Single Window (PSW) signed a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the Board of Revenue Sindh (BoRS), formalizing arrangements for the digital collection of Sindh Stamp Duty through the PSW platform.
Mr. Naveed Abbas Memon, Chief Domain Officer PSW, and Mr. Nazir Ahmed Qureshi, Member RS&EP, Board of Revenue Sindh, signed the SLA. Senior officials from the BoRS and PSW also attended the signing ceremony held in Karachi. The agreement marks the formalization of a partnership for the digitalization of Stamp Duty Collection on cross-border trade declarations, enforcing transparency, visibility, and traceability.
The signing ceremony was graced by Mr. Khalid Haider Shah, Senior Member, Board of Revenue.
A key feature of the new arrangement is the provision of a dedicated interface for the Board of Revenue Sindh, enabling the department to monitor stamp duty collections in real time and carry out daily and monthly reconciliation of collections against government receipts. This will provide the BoRS with greater visibility over collections and strengthen the efficiency of revenue reconciliation.
The integration of the BoRS adds to a list of provincial and federal bodies that have brought their processes onto the PSW platform over the past year and reflects PSW’s continuing efforts to extend the benefits of its digital infrastructure to a wider range of government transactions and services.
