Pakistan Ship Agents Association (PSAA) hosted an award ceremony at Boat Club to celebrate Pakistan’s growing emergence as a regional transshipment hub. Chairman PSAA Muhammad Rajpar honoured Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry and Chairman Karachi Port Trust Rear Admiral Shahid Ahmed SI (M), S.Bt (Retd), alongside senior maritime, commerce and customs officials, in recognition of their collective efforts during the Strait of Hormuz crisis.

The Minister credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership and highlighted the ports’ pivotal role in positioning Pakistan as an emerging transshipment destination for global shipping lines.

The ceremony was attended by leading business figures, shipping agents, shipping companies, and senior officials from ports and terminal operators across Pakistan.
