Malik Khuda Bakhsh, President of the Pakistan Business Forum (Karachi Region), Senior Vice Chairman of the Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association (PPDA), Convener of the FPCCI Standing Committee on Energy, and Chairman of Malik Group of Companies, has endorsed the recent statement by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on World Science Day for Peace and Development. In her statement, the Chief Minister urged the youth to fully utilize their potential in the fields of technology and scientific research.

Malik Khuda Bakhsh emphasized that the secret to both progress and peace undeniably lies in science and technology. He pointed out that science is the key to public prosperity, lasting peace, and a sustainable future. He also addressed misconceptions surrounding satellite technology, clarifying that such advancements do not separate humanity from God. Mastery of science, technology, and modern research is not exclusive to non-Muslims; it is both a heritage and a duty for Muslims as well. He expressed pride that today’s youth are well-versed in technological knowledge.

He further stated that the concept of traditional warfare is evolving globally, with economic and financial battles now taking precedence. The nation that gains dominance in space will undoubtedly secure a prominent position among the world’s leading powers. Satellite technology, he noted, has created new possibilities, and while its future development remains unpredictable, scientists have already uncovered that the entire universe operates through waves. The movements of stars and planets create vibrations that affect both Earth and other celestial bodies. This discovery, he pointed out, aligns with principles mentioned in the Quran.

Malik Khuda Bakhsh concluded by highlighting that science encompasses truth, rationality, objectivity, the breaking of prejudices, universality, individuality, absolute freedom, and human welfare. Science, he said, circulates in our social and societal lives like blood. Therefore, progress in science and technology is undoubtedly essential for restoring peace and security.
