Procter & Gamble (NYSE: PG) announced new commitments to advancing Equality & Inclusion (E&I) at its third annual #WeSeeEqual summit in Karachi. The event saw participation from influential personalities and industry leaders, including; Alla Kamins, Foreign Service Officer, U.S. Department of State, Sidra Iqbal, Award-winning broadcast journalist and a youth icon, Andrew Bailey, Managing Director, BASF Pakistan, Dr. Urooj Mumtaz Khan, International Cricket Commentator & Consultant Dentist, Dr. Sarah Gill, Social Activist & first transgender doctor of Pakistan, and Dr. Sana Yasir, Wellness Master Coach. As part of its new commitments, P&G Pakistan CEO, Adil Farhat, announced that P&G would educate more than 35 million adolescent girls on puberty and menstrual hygiene over the next three years and will set up a task force of certified ‘Mental Health First Aiders’ across the AMA region.
