Syed Aman Shah, Provincial Convener of Awaam Pakistan Party Balochistan, in his statement on the occasion of Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Quetta, said that the Prime Minister’s visit to Balochistan is welcome and has created a new ray of hope among the people of the province. He stated that Balochistan has, for years, suffered from a sense of deprivation, backwardness, and insecurity, and that now is the time for practical actions rather than mere announcements.

Syed Aman Shah said that the people of Balochistan are in dire need of basic facilities, education, healthcare, clean drinking water, employment, and peace. The province’s youth are talented, but they are not given adequate opportunities. If the federal government is sincere about the development of Balochistan, it must ensure local youth have employment, grant them their rightful share of resources, and initiate transparent development projects.

He emphasized that the solution to Balochistan’s problems lies not in the use of force but in dialogue, confidence-building, and political wisdom. Awaam Pakistan Party expects that during his visit to Quetta, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will listen to the concerns of the people of Balochistan and make decisions that lay the foundation for lasting peace and development.

Syed Aman Shah further stated that Awaam Pakistan Party is ready to cooperate with the federal government, provided that the rights of the people of Balochistan are genuinely protected and the province is given its due and rightful share.
