Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) announced a hydrocarbon discovery at the exploratory well Baragzai X-01 (Slant) in the Lumshiwal Formation within the partner-operated Nashpa Block.

The block is operated by Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) with 65% working interest, alongside PPL with 30% and Government Holdings (Private) Limited (GHPL) with 5%. The Lumshiwal Formation yielded oil at 225 Barrels Per Day (BPD) and gas at 1.01 Million Standard Cubic Feet Per Day (MMSCFD). (PSX)
