Oil and gas production in Pakistan declined 11% and 7% YoY, respectively, during 9MFY25. The contraction in hydrocarbon output stems from forced curtailments at Nashpa and the TAL block amid lower gas demand. Major oil fields such as Nashpa, Makori East, Pasakhi, Adhi, Chanda, Mardenkhel, Maramzai, Rajian, and Umar experienced a drop in production during 9MFY25.
Regarding gas production, key fields including Mari, Qadirpur, Sui, Sharf, Kandhkot, Nashpa, and Sutiari Deep registered a decline.
Oil and gas production in Pakistan decreased by 13% and 8% year over year in 3QFY25.
