The National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technologies (NICAT) has launched applications for its Cohort 6, inviting startups to drive innovation in Pakistan. Supported by the Ministry of IT & Telecom and managed by a consortium including NASTP and Air University, NICAT has incubated 77 startups since 2022, attracting over PKR 1.2 billion in investments and creating more than 20,000 jobs.
Cohort 6 will prioritize need-based scouting for startups focused on national security, private aviation, and deep-tech innovations, with an emphasis on the aerospace supply chain and advanced manufacturing. NICAT offers a rapid bootcamp model that helps founders through market validation, compliance, and scaling.
The program aims to connect startups with industry experts, resources, and global markets. It also champions diversity by encouraging women and underrepresented entrepreneurs to apply. Startups with prototypes or ready-to-scale solutions in various sectors, including Aerospace, AI, and Clean-Tech, are invited to apply. Applications for Cohort 6 are now live: https://bit.ly/4lzZ.
