Pakistan’s liquid foreign reserves increased

The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 18,869.0 million on 28-February-2020. The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:-

Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$ 12,757.5 million

Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks : US$ 6,111.5 million

Total liquid foreign reserves             : US$ 18,869.0 million

During the week ending 28-February-2020, SBP reserves increased by US$166 million to US$ 12,757.5 million.
