Pakistan Met department issued a heat wave warning

Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecasted uncertain weather for the next few days. They have issued rain and heat wave warnings. It is forecasted that temperatures can go as high as 42 degrees Celsius in the coming days. Based on this UIT has rescheduled the admission test from September 28, 2019 to October 5, 2019. The last date for submission of application has been also been changed from September 26, 2019 to October 3, 2019

Commenting on this, Dr. Zahir Ali Syed, Director UIT said: “People should try and remain indoors as much as possible and drink a lot of water. In case they have to venture out during the day when the temperatures are extremely high, they should use wet towels on their head to keep the body temperature low. I also advise the use of caps and sunglasses to limit the effect of extreme temperatures.
