The Lasbela Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) strongly supports the decision of Sui Sothern Gas Company (SSGC) to supply residential consumers with gas cylinders instead of gas through pipelines. This makes it much easier to ration gas supply and switch residential demand to alternative energy sources.

The President of LCCI, Mr Ismail Suttar, stated, “Industries are greatly suffering due to shortages in energy supply. A huge portion of gas reserves is eaten up by residential demand, and because of this, it is necessary to switch residential consumers to other forms of energy. The LCCI greatly welcomes this decision and fully supports solving Pakistan’s energy crisis.”

By shifting and limiting the gas supply for residential demand, industries can run a smooth flow of operations and thus contribute to the country’s economy. The LCCI is committed to being the focal voice of Lasbela’s industry and will fully support initiatives for the greater good of Pakistan’s industrial community.
