Pakistan and UAE sign agreement for a cargo terminal at Karachi port

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar witnessed the signing of a commercial agreement between the Authority of Karachi Port Trust Pakistan and Abu Dhabi Ports Group, UAE.

This is a commercial agreement for the Outsourcing Operations of Bulk and General Cargo terminals at seven (7) Berths of East Wharf Karachi Port. The agreement aims to strengthen bilateral relations in Pakistan and the UAE’s marine and logistic sectors. Mr Shahid Ashraf Tarar, Federal Minister for Communication, Railways and Maritime Affairs, along with other high officials from the Pakistani side and H.E. Dr Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, H.E. Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi, Ambassador of UAE to Pakistan along with other high officials from UAE side were present in the agreement signing ceremony.

The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the growth of exchanges, interaction and cooperation between businesses in Pakistan and the UAE.
