OxfordAQA welcomes Pakistan to its Prestigious 2025 Go Further Awards

OxfordAQA, the world’s fastest-growing international exam board, has announced the winners of its prestigious 2025 Go Further Awards, celebrating students who achieved the highest marks in their subjects at International GCSE, AS, and A-levels. These awards honor students who attained top results globally, regionally, or nationally, recognizing outstanding academic excellence and dedication.
This year’s awards highlight a remarkable rise in both performance and global participation — with an 18% increase in student winners and a 40% increase in award-winning schools compared to 2024. The awards not only celebrate students’ hard work but also acknowledge the commitment of their teachers and school staff who supported their success.

For the first time, Pakistan is among the countries represented at the 2025 Go Further Awards, alongside Cyprus, Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, Switzerland, Laos, and Japan, reflecting OxfordAQA’s growing international presence. There was also a notable rise in award winners from Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Taiwan, and Slovakia.

Beaconhouse, one of Pakistan’s leading private school networks with more than 146 campuses in over 30 cities, was among the first institutions in the country to offer OxfordAQA qualifications. This year, students from all four Beaconhouse campuses offering the qualifications achieved top results, with one student from the Central Region Outreach School in Kharian earning a Top of the World award. Nexus The School, a multi-campus institution in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, also secured a Go Further Award, underscoring its dedication to delivering world-class international education to its students.

Students worldwide demonstrated exceptional performance across a range of subjects, with strong results in International GCSE Mathematics, International AS Further Mathematics, International AS English Literature, International AS Biology, International AS Business, and International A-level Geography. New qualifications introduced this year — including International AS Accounting, International AS Computer Science, International GCSE Economics, and International GCSE Psychology — also saw outstanding participation and achievement.

Andrew Coombe, Managing Director of OxfordAQA, commented: “The Go Further Awards truly reflect what OxfordAQA stands for — academic excellence, global opportunity, and future readiness. These students have not only achieved top marks but have shown critical thinking, resilience, and determination that will help them succeed at university and in their professional lives. We’re proud to celebrate their achievements and the educators who guide and inspire them.”

To celebrate the winners, regional award ceremonies will be held, bringing together schools and communities from across OxfordAQA’s global network to honor the students’ accomplishments.
