No society can develop without the participation of women, Faraz-ur-Rehman.

Pakistan Business Group (PBG) Patron-in-Chief Faraz-ur-Rehman has said that no society can develop without the participation of women. Half of the total population of Pakistan consists of women. Economic crisis can be countered if women’s full potential is utilised. He expressed these views while addressing the ceremony organized on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The event was organized in collaboration with A&I Group in which Lubna Twana was the chief guest while a large number of women entrepreneurs including Farzana Burni, Chairperson of PBG Women Wing were among the other participants.

Patron-in-Chief Faraz-ur-Rehman said that no other religion has given the rights that Islam has given to women. He said that our religion protects the rights of women. While the Constitution of Pakistan also provides equal rights to women in same way. Faraz-ur-Rehman said that women are also showing their skills in the field of trade. PBG strongly supports the empowerment of women. He said that in today’s society, women are carrying more responsibilities than men. Working women are fulfilling the responsibilities of not only business but also their households.

Faraz-ur-Rehman said that we have to play the role of mentor for women. He also announced Learn 2 Earn workshop for women.

Faraz-ur-Rehman further said that in Pakistan women are encouraged in every field, which is the reason why the world’s first woman Prime Minister was from Pakistan. Not only this, there, in Amry we have women General, women Judge. But unfortunately, only those women who are oppressed and abused are highlighted in the media. It is true that in some areas where education is not common, women are not getting rights, but they are not in the majority. If education is made public in society, the exploitation of women will also end.

Patron-in-Chief PBG further said that for the development of the country and society, men and women must work together to contribute to prosperity. He said that on the occasion of International Women’s Day, we should take a pledge to encourage those women who have left home to earn their place in society and for the well-being of their families.
