Nestlé Pakistan has enhanced its collaboration with the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) by inaugurating the 20th Nestlé for Healthier Kids (N4HK) room at the Islamabad Model College for Boys, Chak Shahzad. The initiative aims to promote nutrition awareness, with plans to establish three more N4HK rooms and train 350 teachers to reach 15,000 students in the next two years.
The N4HK program is part of a global initiative to ensure that children understand the value of nutrition, having already trained over 3,000 teachers and positively impacted more than 440,000 children nationwide. Federal Secretary of Education Nadeem Mahbub emphasized the program’s importance in promoting healthier dietary practices within schools.
Sheikh Waqar Ahmad from Nestlé Pakistan highlighted the program’s role in shaping a healthier future for children. Developed in collaboration with Oxford University Press, the N4HK curriculum supports the UN Sustainable Development Goal for Good Health and Well-Being. Additionally, Nestlé has trained 5,000 children on sustainability as part of the program. Having been in Pakistan for over 36 years, Nestlé is committed to creating shared value for the community.
