National Bank of Pakistan has announced that legendary cricketer Shahid Afridi has joined as a Sports Consultant, reinforcing the Bank’s commitment to the development of sports in Pakistan. Shahid Afridi, renowned for holding the record for the fastest One Day International (ODI) century for 17 years, was warmly welcomed by Mr Rehmat Ali Hasnie, President of NBP, and senior executives.

Mr Hasnie stated, “We are honoured to have Shahid Afridi join NBP Sports. His experience and passion will greatly help promote sports excellence and develop talent at all levels.”

In his address at the NBP Head Office, Afridi expressed his aim to elevate NBP’s sports programs and to nurture emerging talent, developing future sports stars. His addition reinforces NBP’s vision of advancing sports in Pakistan.
