Provincial Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah emphasized the need for transitioning to renewable energy to achieve industrial competitiveness at the soft launch of the 14th IEEEP Fair 2025. He highlighted the Sindh Government’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, detailing initiatives like solar park development and providing low-tariff energy to boost industry.
He praised the IEEEP Fair as a significant platform for collaboration and technological progress in Pakistan’s electrical and electronics sector. Engr. Navid Akram Ansari, Chairman of IEEEP Karachi Centre, urged support for local, export-oriented products and called for government engagement with the industry on project development.
Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig expressed his appreciation for the fair as a showcase of Pakistan’s engineering capabilities and encouraged government backing for local industry and clean energy. Zohair Naseer, CEO of Badar Expo Solutions, welcomed attendees and emphasized the fair’s expansion into various sectors, thanking sponsors and partners for their support in ensuring the event’s success.
