MoU singed Between Bank Alfalah and The City School for financing solutions for parents

Bank Alfalah and The City School (TCS) have collaborated to offer a first of its kind solution for digital financing of laptops, electronic devices and school fee solutions to The City School staff and parents of the students through the Bank’s digital payment and credit rails. Accordingly, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed to reaffirm this partnership.

The agreement was developed to make The solution makes Bank Alfalah’s diverse range of quick and suite of affordable financing solutions available to both TCS the school staff and parents of the enrolled students, making it easier for the School to cater to evolving technological and personal requirements needs. Through this The City School Employees of TCS and parents will have access to these solutions and they can may purchase laptops with through increased affordability affordable plans in these challenging times whereas while parents of students will have the may further benefit from the platform to by digitally applying for a loans to finance their children’s school fee in times of need these testing times.

The Chairperson of the The City School, Dr. Farzana Firoz, underscored the said this alliance will benefit of the alliance to both teachers and parents, emphasizing the as teachers would be able to buy laptops on need for affordable and accessible mark-up rates and easy instalments while parents would be able to digitally apply for a loan in order to financing solutions children’s education or purchase devices (like laptops and tablets) on easy monthly instalments. “I am confident that this will empower our teachers and parents of our students by providing access to cutting-edge technology from their homes/ and offices while enabling their transition into the world of hybrid learning and digital payments,” she remarked.

The contract was signed at a ceremony at The City School’s Head Office, Lahore. Chief Executive Officer (President & CEO) of Bank –Alfalah – Atif Bajwa, Head of Consumer Finance – Syed Muhammad Asif, and Head of Unsecured Business (CF) – Qasim Janjua, and Unit Head of Digital Consumer Lending – Sara Khan were present from Bank Alfalah. Chairperson – Dr. Farzana Firoz, Director The City School – Aurangzeb Firoz, and Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Amir Mehmood, represented The City School.
