MOL Pakistan donation of PPE, face masks & hand sanitizer to District Administration Hangu

MOL Pakistan Oil and Gas Company B.V. donated hand sanitizer and personal protective equipment (PPE) including face masks and disposable gowns to help tackle the third wave of the pandemic gripping the country.

MOL Pakistan was one of the first companies to respond to the pandemic by providing millions of rupees in funding for the setup of quarantine centers in Islamabad. Subsequently, throughout the pandemic, MOL Pakistan has donated thousands of PPE in order to help strengthen anti-pandemic efforts and to help support compliance with government issued standard operating procedures (SOPs) to contain the spread of coronavirus.

This particular donation of PPE and hand sanitizer was given to the District Administration of Hangu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where the company has operations. Mr. Hameed Ullah Shah, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hangu and Mr. Sardar Bahadar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Hangu appreciated and lauded MOL Pakistan’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.

MOL Pakistan is a fully owned subsidiary of MOL Group, operating in the country since 1999. MOL Group Regional Vice President Middle East, Africa, and Pakistan, Mr. Ali Murtaza Abbas said, “As a socially responsible company we are with the people of Pakistan during these challenging times and continue to support anti-pandemic efforts in the fight against the spread of the virus in the country.”
