Messe Frankfurt boosts Pakistan’s export potential with 350 exhibitors

Messe Frankfurt, the world’s largest trade show organiser, is also the largest exhibition platform for Pakistani companies. In the first half of 2025, more than 350 exhibitors from Pakistan participated in 14 trade shows worldwide, from Heimtextil in Frankfurt to Apparel Sourcing in Paris and Beautyworld in Saudi Arabia.

These exhibitions showcase the diversity of Pakistan’s export strengths: from textiles—covering yarn, apparel, and home products and fabric in fairs like Texworld in USA and Paris, to consumer goods such as halal cosmetics in Beautyworld, home decor in Ambiente, stationery in Paperworld, and technical products like automotive parts in Automechanika and fire safety equipment in Intersec.

The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) plays a vital role, enabling small and medium-sized enterprises to reach new markets and explore opportunities in emerging regions, such as textile fairs in Vietnam and the Motorbike Show in Istanbul.

This consistent presence at Messe Frankfurt trade shows demonstrates Pakistan’s dedication to capturing new markets,” said Omer Salahuddin, CEO of Messe Frankfurt-SP Pakistan. “It’s an opportunity for Pakistani SMEs to expand their global footprint. We hold exhibitions in over 50 cities—from Paris, Tokyo, New York, and Colombia and our network spans the globe. Messe Frankfurt offices, with a presence in more than 180 countries, play a crucial role in recruiting both buyers and manufacturers to connect and conduct business at our trade fairs. Our own office in Karachi has 30 staff members who deal with the exporters and importers in this region”.

Pakistani companies are preparing to participate in even more exhibitions, bringing the total to 26 international exhibitions in a year under the Messe Frankfurt banner—an average of one exhibition every two weeks. These efforts are poised to strengthen Pakistan’s global trade partnerships and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
