Media plays a key role in highlighting business issues and driving gov action: Saleem Memon

Hyderabad Press Club President Junaid Khanzada said that the Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry has been the voice of traders, industrialists and the people of Hyderabad since 2016. Hyderabad Chamber not only explains issues in the best way but also offers appropriate solutions to them. Through its press releases, the Hyderabad Chamber Persistently highlights the city’s long-standing problems, an approach rarely seen on any other platform across Pakistan. He expressed these views while addressing the traders at a dinner hosted by the Hyderabad Chamber at a private hotel yesterday, Tuesday.

He added that the liaison between the Hyderabad Press Club and the Hyderabad Chamber is very strong and is getting stronger day by day. Hyderabad Press Club is the only authentic platform for journalists and traders and industrialists should also avoid paid journalists and should make their voices heard in the government chambers through journalists associated with Hyderabad Press Club.

Earlier, President, Hyderabad Chamber Saleem Memon congratulated the newly elected office bearers of Hyderabad Press Club and said that the media is the fourth pillar of any civilized society which not only provides accurate information to the public but also plays a key role in improving the situation by highlighting socio-economic issues, and it is a matter of pride that the media of Hyderabad is discharging its responsibilities in a very good manner. He said that Hyderabad Chamber is deeply grateful to the media which has effectively highlighted the problems of the business community, as a result of which government institutions are forced to take serious steps, and thanks to this positive role, not only the business community gets relief but also its effects are felt on the economic development of the province and the country because improvement in business activities leads to stability of the economy and increase in employment opportunities. He further said that the relationship between the media and the business community is not limited to just reporting but is a strong bond of national service and mutual cooperation, and the Hyderabad Chamber will continue to play a full role in making its relationship with the media stronger and more effective.

On this occasion, the chief guest Seth Amin Khatri appreciated the role of the Hyderabad Press Club and said that the office bearers, members of the governing body and the entire journalist community deserve congratulations for highlighting the voice of the businessmen of Hyderabad in the best possible way. The role of journalism is very important in highlighting the challenges of the economy of any country and it is the journalist community that becomes the voice of the businessmen and conveys their problems to the institutions, which makes their solutions possible.
