On 16 May 2025, at about 1400 hrs, Karachi Port Trust (KPT) celebrated “Youm-e-Tashakur” (Day of Gratitude) to mark Pakistan’s historic victory over Indian aggression. The Port Security Force organised a parade at KPT Headquarters, attended by senior officials, including General Manager Operations Rear Admiral Atiq-ur-Rehman and General Manager Admin Muhammad Younas, along with other General Managers.

▪️This event is part of nationwide celebrations commemorating Pakistan’s remarkable achievements. Today, KPT Officers and Employees are in front of the KPT Head Office Building to pay tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces, who fought bravely with valour and courage to defend our motherland and foiled Indian hegemonic design during Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos. Flag hoisting and Dua for the nation were performed during the occasion.

KPT Officers and staff also appropriately kept the port functional during the escalation period, defeating Indian propaganda and fake news about Karachi Port.
KPT will keep organising various events, such as seminars, workshops, and sports competitions, to celebrate the victory
