KATI welcomes initiatives of PM and COAS for taking notice of business community’s concerns

Leadership of Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) has welcomed the initiative of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff Gen. Qamar Bajwa for a larger consultation with business community to address economic woes of country. According to a statement released by KATI Patron in Chief of KATI SM Muneer , President Sheikh Umer Rehan, Senior Vice President Muhammad Ikram Rajput and vice President Syed Wajid Hussain welcomed the recent statement by the PM and COAS.

SM Muneer said that PM Khan and COAS Gen. Bajwa has taken business community into confidence and this initiative had diffuse the uncertainty, which was prevailing due to economic hardships in country. He said that Business community has a strong believe that the economic woes of this country can only by resolved with the comprehensive consultation with Industrial and trader community. He also welcomed the government initiative for asking business community’s suggestions for the betterment of economy.

He said that we are ready to play any possible role for the prosperity and stability of our country and we don’t have any doubt in it that our most precious asset is Pakistan. He expressed hope that the initiative of consulting with economic stakeholders by the PM and COAS will bring some solid results.

President KATI Sheikh Umer Rehan urged for the continuation of collaboration between government and Business community to deliberate a long term economic policy of the country. He said that we hope that suggestion made by Business community would reflect into the economic policy making. Sheikh Umer Rehan cited the PM Khan has given the vision to facilitate industry by lowering down cost of production an doing business , initiative for ease of doing business and promotion of country’s exports, “we wish to see this vision come true and ready to play our role in it” he added.
