Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) President Faraz-ur-Rehman, CEO KITE Ltd Zubair Chhaya, Senior Vice President Nighat Awan, Vice President Muslim Mohammadi and members of the Executive Committee congratulated Dr. Saifur Rehman on his appointment as Administrator Karachi. President KATI Faraz-ur-Rehman said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) agreed on the name of Dr. Saifur Rehman to be appointed as the new administrator of Karachi is highly appreciated. He hoped that this initiative would ensure the development of Karachi city. Faraz-ur-Rehman said that before being appointed to the post of Administrator Karachi, Dr. Saifur Rehman had also served as the Principal Secretary to the Governor of Sindh and the Municipal Commissioner of KMC and he is well aware of local government problems and he can solve them efficiently. Rehman said that it is hoped that the new administrator, Dr. Saifur Rahman, will take steps for the improvement and development of Karachi after assuming office.

CEO KITE Ltd Zubair Chhaya expressed good wishes to Dr. Saifur Rehman on his appointment as Administrator Karachi and said that Dr. Saif has performed his duties very well in the past. Zubair Chhaya said that Dr. Saif is among the most competent and active officers. Chhaya hoped that after assuming the post of Administrator Karachi, Dr. Saif would own Karachi and develop the city, especially the Korangi Industrial Area, improve parks, roads, KMC hospitals, sewage and water systems need immediate steps to solve the infrastructure problems and use all his capabilities for the betterment and beautification of the city.
