Patron in Chief of Korangi Association & Industry (KATI) SM Muneer and President Sheikh Umer Rehan congratulated Chairman United Business Group Iftikhar Ali Malik on assuming the office of 14th President of SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Senator Ghulam Ali as vice president of the association.

SM Muneer said that after 11 years Pakistan is presiding the regional chamber of commerce and this is great honor for us that a seasoned business leader Mr. Malik would represent us there. He said that Mr. Malik and Senator Ghulam Ali would play a vital role to strengthen regional trade and business relations. He said that as president of Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, President FPCCI and vice president of SAARC chamber Iftikhar Malik has proven his ability of promoting business and economic activities.

President KATI Sheikh Umer Rehan said that there are a lot of opportunities to bring together SAARC countries for trade and economic prospects and Iftikhar Malik it the right man for the right job. He said that in current scenario there is a need of hour to promote regional relation and business is the best way to do this. He said that both of the elected office bearers of this regional chamber of commerce can bring many positive changes with the help of government. He further said that we hope the both of our honorable representatives of business community would play their role to bring prosperity, peace and development in the region.
