KATI expresses regret over the loss of precious lives in the Russia-Ukraine conflict

President of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) Salman Aslam has said that Russia-Ukraine conflict is a matter of global concern, as a result of which hundreds of lives have been lost.

He said that due to the war the payments of the exporters of goods to both the countries are also being severely affected for which the government should take immediate steps to recover their dues and provide more relief to them so that the domestic exporters go bankrupt.

President KATI Salman Aslam said that Russia-Ukraine conflict has started affecting the whole world due to which with the historic increase in global petroleum products, gas, gold, edible oil, wheat and other daily necessities are increasing. While there will be a significant increase in the intensity of inflation.

He said that our economy could not afford the depreciation of rupee in the domestic currency market and increase in gold prices globally.

President KATI said that Pakistani students stranded in Ukraine are facing serious difficulties and every possible step should be taken to provide security to them and ensure their safe repatriation.

Salman Aslam said that the world has not yet been able to fully recover from the destruction of Corona, in which case the war will lead to further instability.

President KATI said that the United Nations should also play its role in maintaining law and order on this occasion.
