Patron in Chief SM Muneer and President of Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) Shiekh Umer Rehan applauded the 11 trillion Rs development package announced by PM Imran Khan and termed it as a revolutionary initiative.

SM Muneer said that PM become successful to make consensus among all stakeholders of the city and bring provincial and federal government on the same page for the development of Karachi. He said that for the announced package people Karachi and especially business community is grateful to Prime Minister Imran Khan. “PM Khan always says that Karachi is the key to economic growth of the country and he translated his vision in this development package” he added.

President KATI Sheikh Umer Rehan said that during PM Khan’s visit to Karachi, in the meeting with industrialists and business community he was briefed about the lack of infrastructure in industrial areas and a burning issue of Gas Infrastructure Development Cess(GIDC) for industry. ” he assured to resolve both of the issues on priority” he added. Sheikh Umer Rehan said that PM also agreed to give special grant for development of infrastructure in industrial areas of Karachi and we hope that he will take action in this direction. President KATI was of view that as PM Khan understands the problem of Karachi and took immediate action on the situation, business community of the city acknowledges his commitment to his vision.
