The Karachi Port Trust (KPT) recently organised an Eid Milan party at a local hotel in honor of journalists. Prominent print and electronic media journalists attended yesterday’s event.

Brigadier Muhammad Younis, General Manager (Administration), Engr. Ismail Soomro, General Manager (CW) of KPT, and their team warmly welcomed the media personnel. During the gathering, they exchanged views on various KPT projects.

One notable project discussed was recovering 50 acres of illegally encroached land worth approximately Rs 36,200 million. This significant achievement showcases KPT’s commitment to protecting its assets and ensuring the smooth operation of the Karachi Port, one of South Asia’s largest and busiest deep-water seaports.

The event underscored the media’s pivotal role in KPT’s success, fostering a deeper understanding of the port’s initiatives and progress.
