Jawa Foods has launched Jawa WheyFlow, a fortified whey drink available in mango and strawberry flavors. Packaged in 300ml bottles, the drink contains whey, protein, and less sugar, and is fortified with vitamin A, D, iron, and zinc to address common deficiencies in Pakistani households.

The National Nutrition Survey 2018 highlighted high rates of anemia and micronutrient deficiencies among children and women.

Asad Ur Rehman Jawa, COO of Jawa Foods, stated, “We chose to fortify rather than simply flavor, as these nutrients are most needed.” The mango variant emulates the Chaunsa flavor, while the strawberry variant is refreshing. Initially available at Jawa Foods outlets, wider distribution will be considered based on its performance.
