The 4th All Pakistan Women Chambers Presidents International Conference is taking place in Islamabad, bringing together leaders from over 30 Women Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Hosted by the Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Joint Chamber, the two-day forum focuses on strengthening women’s economic institutions and entrepreneurship.
Inaugurated by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Haroon Akhtar Khan, the event includes participants such as policymakers, financial institutions, and private sector stakeholders. Central themes include capacity building for Women Chambers, regulatory compliance, leadership development, and international market access.
Samina Fazil, President of the Islamabad Women Chamber, emphasized the need for support and resources for the growing number of Women Chambers. Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari of the Azerbaijan Pakistan Joint Chamber highlighted the export potential of women-owned enterprises. The conference also features expert-led sessions, a Pakistan Azerbaijan Women Entrepreneurship Dialogue, and a networking gala dinner to foster collaboration and engagement among stakeholders.
