Investors are moving their capital and business abroad.

A good number of people are disappointed about the future of the country. On Sunday, the Pakistan Economy Watch (PEW) said the public’s anxiety has increased. Despite the challenging situation, important economic decisions are being politicised, and these wrong policies are not benefiting the government, but harming the public, it said.

The country’s economic conditions have been bad for the past several years. Still, the situation has become alarming and the masses are getting disappointed about the country’s future, said Dr. Murtaza Mughal, President of PEW who added that the country’s economy is nosediving, there are no new jobs, and existing jobs are also de. The various sectors and the country’s default has become the most important issue of discussion among the public.

Dr. Murtaza Mughal said that the agriculture, industrial and ser, vice sectors are in decline and the country’s daily is getting poor day by day.

Masses have been forced to cut essential expenses while education and health have become a luxury ending the prospects for future development, he noted.

Small businessmen are, worried about the situation while many entrepreneurs are moving their businesses and capital abroad out of desperation which will not be good for Pakistan.

Youth are leaving, which has never been seen in the past, indicating that history which suggests that they see no future for themselves in Pakistan.

He said that most local and foreign investors are considering an investment. In contrast, most believe politicians lack any solution to the existing problems. They have issues and no desire for them because their attention is focused on politics and serving the elite.

Elites are becoming more influential, and they are successfully producing desired outcomes which are squeezing the masses facing multiple problems.
