Interloop Limited begins digital transformation with SAP Ariba

Interloop Limited, a leading textile manufacturer and garment exporter from Pakistan, plays a vital role in the country’s export growth, generating annual revenues exceeding USD 500 million. To align with global best practices, Interloop has partnered with SAP to implement the SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract Suite as part of its transformation program, Project North Star.

This initiative involves restructuring the company from a decentralized to a centralized model to better serve global customers. By digitizing its procurement function, Interloop aims to enhance transparency and efficiency. SAP Ariba will allow the company to manage sourcing events effectively, tap into a global supplier network, and streamline procurement processes.

“Our goal is to establish a world-class procurement function that supports sustainability and digital ambitions,” said Navid Fazil, CEO of Interloop Limited. “With SAP Ariba, we are not only automating processes but also empowering strategic sourcing and enhancing supplier relationships.”

Saquib Ahmad, Country Managing Director of SAP Pakistan, highlighted that Interloop’s vision aligns with SAP Ariba’s capabilities, which will reduce sourcing cycle times and deliver significant savings.

This transformation also furthers Interloop’s commitment to sustainable development, following the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. By adopting SAP Ariba, Interloop sets a new standard for digital transformation in the textile industry, improving operational capabilities and enhancing Pakistan’s export potential through competitive sourcing and cost optimization.
