Inside TCL’s vision for the next generation of display technology

In Pakistan, televisions are now central to home entertainment, expected to deliver an immersive experience for cinema, live sports, and gaming. TCL’s introduction of the SQD-Mini LED TV in 2026 represents the culmination of years of display innovation, beginning with TCL’s first QD-Mini LED TV in 2019. TCL CSOT, the company’s display manufacturing division, leads large-TV manufacturing, holding a 28.8% global market share.

The SQD-Mini LED TV features three key advancements: Super QLED for improved color accuracy, a Precise Dimming Series for better dimming control, and an Ultra Color Filter for enhanced color reproduction. These technologies deliver peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits and a 60,000-hour lifespan, twice that of OLED.

For consumers in Pakistan, the launch reflects the evolution of premium TVs, which are now defined by brightness, contrast, color accuracy, and durability beyond just size.
