President of Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) Tariq Malik, Senior Vice President Salman Aslam and Vice President of the association Junaid Naqi said that increased petroleum prices would add more burden on Industry and SMEs in terms of increased cost of production and doing business.

President Tariq Malik said that industrial and SME sector were already facing the pressure of exceeding cost of production and doing business. He said that government should revisit its tax and levies charged on petroleum products and could bear increase in prices. Tariq Malik said that increase price of petroleum prices would equally effect industry, SMEs, Export Sector and common people. He urged PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to take notice of this situation immediately and direct to revise the decision of increased petroleum prices.
