In August 2026, workers’ remittances totaled $3.7 billion. This represents a growth of 16.5% compared to the same month last year and an increase of 0.7% from the previous month.

For the cumulative period of July to August in FY27, total remittances rose by 14.7%, reaching $7.3 billion, up from $6.4 billion during the same period last year.

The primary sources of workers’ remittances for August 2026 were as follows: Saudi Arabia contributed $873.5 million, the UAE provided $749.8 million, the UK sent $563.7 million, and the USA accounted for $308.9 million.
