ILMA University holds its World Fusion Fest at the main campus

ILMA University recently held its World Fusion Fest at the main campus, where students from Sociology, Principles of Marketing, and Marketing Management showcased the culture of 17 countries as part of their final class project. The participating countries included Japan, Switzerland, Singapore, Russia, Turkey, Italy, Morocco, Iran, Mexico, Malaysia, Portugal, Brazil, Germany, Spain, and Sweden.

The event was graced by the presence of several esteemed guests, including Excellency Herman Hardynata Ahmad, Consul General of Malaysia, who inaugurated the Malaysian booth and appreciated the students’ efforts. Additionally, Excellency Cemal Sangu, Consul General of Turkey, and Excellency Ishtiaq Baig, Honorary Consul General of Morocco, inaugurated the Turkish and Moroccan booths, respectively, and praised the students for their outstanding representation of their respective cultures.

Dr. Aftab Imam, Chief Commissioner IRS, FBR, also inaugurated the Pakistan booth. Shanaz Ramzi, CEO of Starlinks PR, Vice Chancellor of ILMA University, and Registrar of ILMA, Syed Kashif Rafi, were also in attendance.

All guests were highly appreciative of the initiative taken by ILMA University students to promote cross-cultural awareness and understanding. The country booths were well decorated and showcased different aspects of their cultures, while the students provided food and various activities for the audience. The evening was capped off by a film fest, displaying the short films of first-semester media students.
