The initiative to foster self-awareness among students in government schools in Lyari, to highlight their learning abilities that will ease the difficult journey ahead, and to help them find effective career paths is commendable. These views were expressed by Solmaz Regi, founder of Identity Pakistan, during the “Initiate Identity” career-counseling workshop held with Kiran Foundation at a government school in Lyari.

She said that one of Identity Pakistan’s efforts is to highlight educational opportunities for youth, aiming to empower students to move beyond their strengths, environments, and traditional paths to find better opportunities in the future. This workshop will boost the confidence of youth, enabling them to make better decisions to build a bright future in line with their abilities. The special guest, Sindh High Court lawyer and social rights activist Fahad Baloch, said, “I work and struggle tirelessly for social rights and raise my voice in support of youth and vulnerable groups.

I provide guidance regarding education and career to youth so they can turn their dreams into reality.” His deep understanding and experience of social issues make him an influential and trustworthy leader. Fahad Baloch’s services are a shining example of empowering youth and expanding their career opportunities. Solmaz Regi’s workshop has inspired new hope and courage among Lyari students. Those who shared their views included Abida Waheed, Vice Principal of Kiran Foundation. At the conclusion of the workshop, Identity Pakistan founder Solmaz Regi distributed certificates among the students and expressed gratitude to the participants.
