ICI Pakistan Limited (ICI) is scheduled to announce its 3QFY22 financial result on Apr 26th 2022. We expect the company to post a profit after tax (PAT) of PKR 2,032mn (EPS: PKR 22.00) compared with a PAT of PKR 1,962mn (EPS: PKR 21.24) during the same period last year.

Sales are expected to increase by 52% YoY to PKR 26.8bn, while revenue is expected to increase by 7% on a QoQ basis. We expect the rise in sales expected due to higher sales from all segments. Gross margins are expected to decrease by 285bps YoY to 22.4% because of higher coal prices.

Moreover, the finance cost is expected to increase by 87% YoY due to higher borrowings and interest rates. We hope the company book an exchange loss of PKR 139mn due to PKR depreciation during the quarter.
