During an inaugural ceremony arranged by KPT, Governor Sindh unveiled a plaque to inaugurate the road between Khamis Gate (Gate No. 1 of Karachi Port) and Oil Pier – 1. KPT takes the initiative of rehabilitating the road to resolve traffic congestion faced by port users. The ceremony was attended by Chairman PNSC Rear Admiral Jawad Ahmed SI (M), Mr Farhan Essa of Essa Laboratories, and the senior management of KPT.

While speaking during the occasion, the Chief Guest, Governor Sindh, stressed that taking individual initiatives and resolving them with personal interest is mandatory if you want to succeed. He said that success results when collective efforts back them. In this realm, he also appreciated the Chairman KPT Syedain Raza Zaidi and his entire team for taking the initiative of road rehabilitation.

Earlier, in his welcome note, the Chairman KPT Syedain Raza Zaidi applauded the initiatives taken by Governor Sindh, Mr Kamran Khan Tessori, since holding office. He briefed the honourable Governor Sindh about project details upon arrival and presented bouquets to welcome Governor Sindh at Karachi Port.

Later, the Chairman KPT presented Crest to the honourable Governor Sindh, Mr Kamran Khan Tessori, to conclude the proceedings.
