Gas & Oil Pakistan (GO) is advancing its environmental sustainability efforts through the GO Sarsabz Pakistan Project. The company has significantly increased its sapling distribution, from 50,000 in 2019 to approximately 600,000 in 2025, with nearly 300,000 distributed in Fall 2026 alone.

This initiative includes establishing nurseries in Renala Khurd, Mehmood Kot, and Daulatpur, as well as ongoing collaborative efforts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to enhance green cover nationwide.

A GO spokesperson emphasized the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility, stating that the project aims to promote sustainability and contribute to a greener Pakistan. GO believes that responsible corporate citizenship is essential to long-term business success and plans to further expand its conservation and climate-conscious initiatives.
