The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) conferred a Lifetime Achievement Award on Abdul Sami Khan (Sitara-e-Imtiaz), Convener of its Central Standing Committee on Petroleum Products and Dealers, in recognition of his over 50 years of service to the petroleum sector.

The award was presented during a meeting chaired by FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh at Federation House, where industry challenges including daily fuel price fluctuations, EV charging facilities at petrol pumps, and security concerns of operators were discussed.

Patron-in-Chief UBG S. M. Tanveer praised Khan’s lifelong contributions to trade leadership and policy advocacy. Abdul Sami Khan urged focus on sector development and strategies to overcome current disruptions.

The ceremony was attended by dignitaries including MNA Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, FPCCI leaders Saquib Fayyaz Magoon and Qurrat Ul Ain, and senior business figures Khalid Tawab, Mazhar Ali Nasir, Zafar Bakhtawari, Ikram Rajput, and Rauf Mukhtar.
